Bakery Workshop

Knead we say more! Being passionate about all things food, baking is a part of life. The art of baking dates back centuries and what an essential part of life it is! From our loaf of daily bread, yeast buns, biscuits or cakes.

What we make as part of the Bakery Workshop;

  • Basic and specialty breads
  • Pull a part bread
  • Pizza dough
  • Croissants and danishes
  • Seasonal products such as hot cross buns at Easter

You don’t need to be a great cook, or have a lot of experience in the kitchen to participate in our workshops. What we do is help you build confidence in the kitchen, showing how you can make your own food from scratch using basic kitchen appliances.

All of our workshops are 100% hands on. In this workshop you will get to make everything from scratch, gaining an understanding of how the different dough’s should feel and when it has been kneaded enough.

We also have a small stone mill to grind our own flour for those wanting to get right back to the beginning.

The workshop runs from 10am to approximately 4pm and includes all workshop notes, morning tea and a workshop inspired lunch.

You might want to make sure you have a hungry hoard at home as you will take home a lot of freshly baked goodies! What do you need to bring? Nothing but yourself and an appetite.

Please note, this workshop requires a minimum of 4 people to run.
