Our Pasta and Gnocchi Workshop is loads of fun! It’s practical, easy to follow and 100% hands on.
In this workshop your will learn how easy it is to make your own pasta dough, on request we will work with gluten free flour to make the pasta. Our pasta dough we will then turn into Tortellini, Agnolotti, Spaghetti and Fettuccini. The Tortellini and Agnolotti will be stuffed with a fresh home made pesto, some home made ricotta and spinach or perhaps a mushroom rague. We will also create a rich tomato sauce and a chilli and mascarpone sauce all home made of course, to have with our home made pasta.
Then we will turn the humble potato into a light little pillow of gnocchi and match it with a delicate sauce. The word gnocchi in Italian means ‘little lump’. It was originally served as an extra during a traditional Italian meal. Gastronomically speaking however, gnocchi should be anything but lumpish as a well made gnocchi should be light and fluffy.
When all our food is made we will plate it up and have a delicious Italian inspired meal. The workshop including meal runs for 3 hours.
