How to make soft cheese with The Cheesemaking Workshop Coffs Harbour

In this 100% hands on, fun workshop, you will learn how to make you own, gourmet soft cheeses.

Cheeses taught on the day include:

  • Camembert
  • Fetta
  • Ricotta
  • Mascarpone
  • Quark
  • Greek Style Yoghurt

Cheese tastings, morning tea and a cheese inspired lunch are all provided as part of the workshop. All equipment, cultures and cheesemaking kits are available for purchase from our retail store on the completion of the workshop. All workshop notes are provided.

By the end of the day you will be surprised at how easy home cheesemaking really is, when you think about it milk maids have been making cheese in mountain plateaus for centuries, it surely can’t be that difficult in a modern kitchen. It really is ‘Home Cheesemaking, Made Easy!’

This is a hands on workshop and class numbers are restricted to ensure hands on experience. The Soft Cheese Making Workshop is taught by home cheese makers, for home cheese makers. We use simple equipment for our cheesemaking and the process has been modified for a home kitchen environment.  After the one day workshop we guarantee you will be able to make your own gourmet cheeses at home!

The workshop starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm, bring nothing but your self and a love of cheese!

Morning tea and a cheese inspired lunch are all included, please let us know at time of booking if you have any dietary requirements so we can adjust the menu accordingly.

Please note, this workshop requires a minimum of 2 people to run.
