It’s pasta, but not as you know it! Our Pasta And Gnocchi Workshop is designed to power-up your inner gastronome.
Practical, easy-to follow and 100% hands on, this three-hour workshop will get you confident in creating and handling silky light pasta dough and form it into your own unforgettable tortellini, agnolotti, spaghetti and fettuccini.
You’ll learn how to stuff the tortellini and agnolotti with a fresh homemade pesto, spinach and handmade ricotta (made guess where – right here at The Cheesemaking Workshop!) or mushroom ragu, as well create a rich tomato sauce and a chilli and mascarpone (again, with cheese cultured right here on the premises!).
That’s not all – you will also learn how to turn out perfect potato gnocchi. The word gnocchi in Italian means ‘little lump’. Gastronomically speaking however, gnocchi should be anything but lumpish – a well-made gnocchi should be light and fluffy. We will teach you the secret to making gnocchi that’s so pillowy-light, we guarantee that it will change your opinion of this terrific pasta variety.
Once all this delicious food is complete we will plate it up and enjoy a delicious Italian-inspired meal.
We use the Marcato Electric Pasta machine for our pasta making during the workshop.
