Bakarindi Finger Lime Marmalade 190g

Finger limes (Citrus australasica) are Australia’s native caviar, they’ve been an essential food source for Indigenous Australians for thousands of years. The shape of a finger lime is unique, closely resembling that of a of a small finger. Each finger lime is filled with small, round juice sacks. These caviar-esque pearls burst with a beautiful lime flavour, similar to a round lime.

This Finger Lime Marmalade is locally made in Corindi Beach, which is on the northern end of the Coffs Coast on a small family farm.  Well balanced with its tantalising citrus taste and delicate sweetness, it’s a beautiful blend of the traditional marmalade with an Australian native bush foods twist. We love to serve this Finger Lime Marmalade over blue vein, goat cheese on our cheese platters. That is to say, If you’ve never tried a marmalade with a blue cheese, it’s delicious! Also great on toast.

Similarly, if you’re wanting to incorporate it into your homemade cheeses. Try it over ricotta, quark or even mixed through home-made yoghurt.

This locally made marmalade won silver at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2016.
