Northern Whiskey Beef Jerky
A local Coffs Coast made jerky.
The Northern Whiskey Beef Jerky is on the milder side and isn’t spicy. The flavour is mellow and has the aroma of real whisky throughout. Best suited to a slow afternoon on the deck or an easy fishing session off the jetty with some smokey cheddars, pickles and a wedge of fresh bread.
To make this first-class treat, first, the Angus Beef strips are marinated in real whiskey. Next, it’s onto the BBQ where it’s cooked slow and low for around 6 hours. Finally, it’s finished with aromatic and sweet Fruitwood smoke.
