Wattle Tree Creek is a farm based in the Northern Rivers Hinterland. Filled with tropicals fruit and macadamia farm at Dunoon, they grow over 25 varieties of fruit and macadamia nuts. Their preserves are preservative free, mostly gluten free, suitable for vegans and mostly made from the fruit from their own land. This dukkah mix is hand made using Australia native herb lemon myrtle for a lovely citrus twist.
Lemon Myrtle, a native Australian bush food and often referred to as the “Queen of the lemon herbs” and grows in subtropical rainforests.
Our favourite way to serve is by dipping in fresh crusty bread into the oil/vinegar mix and then into the dukkah. Or, by spreading a soft, fresh goat cheese sprinkled with dukkah. The oil and vinegar also make a great salad dressing.
