Strawberry balsamic jam
This surprising flavour combination is a fantastic condiment to an indulgent creamy Brie.
This is another recipe we showcased at our monthly Cheese Club with the French triple cream, Brillat Savarin.
We also love it poured over a homemade baked camembert.
- 1 punnet of strawberries
- 100 ml caramelised balsamic
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- a pinch of salt
Cut strawberries into quarters and place in a small saucepan with all the ingredients. Slowly bring to the simmer stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
Simmer for approximately 15 minutes until rich and thick.
Cool to serve with your favourite brie.
